Yvette M. (Tessier) Dauphinais

Yvette M. Dauphinais, 92, formerly of Harris Ave., passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024, at The Friendly Home, Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of the late Emile J. Dauphinais.  The couple was married for sixty-six years at the time of Emile’s passing on May 18, 2020. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Jean-Marc and Lillian (Archambault) Tessier. Mrs. Dauphinais worked as a matron for the Woonsocket School Department for twelve years until her retirement in 1990. She was a communicant of All Saints Parish and was a member of St. Joseph’s Seniors, Royal Travelers, and Memory Lanes Bowling League.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Bouley of Smithfield and Joanne Breault and her husband Richard of Blackstone, one son, Emile J. Dauphinais Jr. and his wife Jocelyne of Cape Coral, FL, siblings Robert Tessier of Enfield, NH, Jeanne Theroux of Woonsocket and Normand Tessier of FL, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son-in-law Deacon N. David Bouley.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at St. Joseph Church, 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket with visitation at the church from 11AM until the start of the service.  Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.  In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to a charity of one’s choosing would be appreciated.
